To be able to use the sensors, of course, I had to attach them to the circuit. When testing the sensors I was using crocodile clips, which worked well as temporary solution but I needed to find something more permanent.
To attach a wire to an E-Textile I first stripped a small section of wire at each end. Then I twisted the wire to make sure all conductive material is strong enough to make good connections. I twisted the exposed wire into a circle and placed it on the fabric, using tape to keep it in place while sewing.

I sewed around the exposed wire using conductive thread and tested it, it worked perfectly!

The only thing to consider about this method of attaching wires is that it requires around 3cm by 3cm to be able to fit the wire on the sensor. I did not know this when making my prototype (previous post) so I have had to adjust the design for it to work.
