This is my first time working with Puredata and I found it was very different from my usual way of working. The process of getting my patch and sub-patches to work how I intended them, was somewhat tedious feeling not entirely confident in the software to start with. At the beginning of the module, I doubted that I would ever work with this software out of choice but now, almost a term later I feel much more confident in my abilities to work with Puredata going forward.

Although this patch is simple it took me a very long time to build and work as I wanted it to.

I wanted the sculpture to make an alarm using 5 different pitched oscillators. Each oscillator goes up in pitch, with 500Hz, 700Hz, 900Hz, 1500Hz, 2000Hz. The first oscillator uses at metronome object set at 1000ms and all others are at 100ms.

By uploading this patch to a Bela board, through a breadboard I attached the pressure sensors to it, the sensors could then modulate frequency and volume through touch.
