As a group, we have discussed our interests for the project and are aiming to create and audio-visual installation inspired by “confessional booths”.

We want the confessions to be real stories from strangers.

To get these confessions, we made an anonymous google form and put it on an eye-catching poster. We stuck these posters mostly around Goldsmiths and UAL, and a few in other places such as pub toilets.

We were thoughtful with the language we used in the poster, due to the religious origins of confessional booths, we chose to add quotation marks to signify that we are not taking the idea of the confessional booth as gospel so to speak…

We also felt it was important to state that anything submitted could be used in art work on the poster, which is reiterated on the form with ANONYMOUS in caps to reinforce the anonymity.
