 Chorus in rememory of flight is a multi media film installation commissioned by WePresent and Barbican. The exhibition is about place, identity, and belonging; “The artist traveled around europe, exploring untold stories of black and african diasporic realities and collaborating with localmusicians and choirs.” – WePresent 2023. Throughout all places shown within the films there are sonic motifs repeated throughout showing the togetherness of the community despite the varying countries. This shown clearist through the use of Gospel choirs, interviews, and music. The physical presentation of the main work was through three screens placed next to eachother with three corresponding speakers, immersing the audience within the places presented.
