Initial idea for installation – This is an idea for a spatialised guided meditation but I have applied the speaker placement to a new idea (bottom picture and paragraph)

I have been researching bilateral stimulation for another project and feel that spatialised sound is a great opportunity to apply this principle

Imagining the space for spatialised sound:

I imagine the piece would be installed into a gallery setting, there would be fabric hanging from the ceiling and the speakers would be situated within the tent like structure. The drawing below inspired an idea about infancy, next to the drawing in my notebook I wrote – ‘Space and sound. Where we listen. I wish I could listen to the world from the womb, comfortable and safe. 18 weeks after conception we hear. We hear our mother’s heartbeat before her voice.’ how could this idea become a spatialised sound piece?
